Traditional Use:
Properties: Antispasmodic, tonic for males. Possibly similar to spearmint and peppermint.
Benefits: Weakened male sex drive and eases nervous fatigue. Possibly, similar in action to spearmint and peppermint, which include: acne, apathy, asthma, bowel disorders, bronchitis, catarrhal conditions, colds, colic, congested skin, coughs, dermatitis, digestive problems, dyspepsia, faintness, fatigue, fever, flatulence, flu, headaches, mental tiredness, mouth or gum infections, muscular pain, nausea, poor circulation, nervous strain, shock, sinus congestion, sinusitis, travel sickness, and vomiting.
Blends Well With: Most other mints and citrus oils, basil, geranium, lavender, rosemary, and sage.
