Muira Puama Extract

Muira puama is an understory tree in the Amazon rainforest. It grows to about 15 feet tall, and bears white flowers that smell intensely of jasmine. It has been widely used in Europe and South America for hundreds of years and was listed in the Herbal Pharmacopoeia of Great Britain. We recommend taking this extract with lukewarm water and a small amount of lemon juice. This will assist with the absorption of the tannins in the extract.
