Easily recognizable with its silver-green foliage and yellow flowers, wormwood is a beautiful garden plant that loves dry edges in full sun. This plant is well-known for making traditional bitters, and it is also a prominent ingredient in absinthe. Sow the tiny seeds on the surface of sandy soil. The seeds germinate easily, and the plant is long-lived on the landscape. In the fall, cut back to just an inch or so above the old growth.
