Formosa oolong is a darker oolong tea prepared in the Taiwanese style, and has a gentle fruit flavor that stands out from other oolong. The tea plant produces a compound that imparts a peachy aroma to the tea, and amazingly this change in the leave’s constituents only happens after the plant is bitten by insects.
