This bright and powerful hydrosol has an herbaceous lemony scent with dry thyme-like undertones. Lemon thyme makes a beautiful single ingredient spray or can be incorporated into your favorite skin care recipes. It can be used as a base for botanical perfumes and will add a fresh scent to handcrafted cleaning products.
Used as a general toner, lemon thyme can help stimulate skin circulation. It can also be applied directly to occasional blemishes. In aroma sprays and perfume blends, lemon thyme provides a grounded calming note.
Lemon thyme will blend well with bay laurel, calendula, and Douglas fir hydrosols. To increase the citrusy notes, blend with citrus-scented essential oils like lemon balm or lemon eucalyptus. This hydrosol will also compliment and mellow camphor-rich essential oils like rosemary and eucalyptus.
Our Lemon Thyme Hydrosol is produced from the aerial portion of Thymus x citriodorus via water-steam distillation. Suitable for cosmetic use.
The 3 oz. and 8 oz. sizes come in an amber glass bottle with a mister top. The 16 oz., 64 oz., and 1 gallon bulk sizes come in plastic bottles without misters.
