This creeping annual is a clinging ground dweller native to fields, woods, and waste places of North America and Europe. Plant prefers regular garden or woodland soils, and will grow well in shade or sun. Sow in pots or directly in the seed bed. May take up to 60 days to germinate, and prefers cool soils. Give 30 days cold, moist refrigeration (place seeds in a plastic bag with moist potting soil, coir, or peat) before sowing in standard greenhouse scenario for best results when using controlled planting technique. Otherwise scatter the seed on open ground and press in- the seeds will respond when conditions are optimal.
